No. There will be no food concessions at the location --- you would be able to go into Cashmere for meals.
Will there be camping available during the Pre-Conference?
Yes, for the same rates as the Conference - $5 a night/primitive camping and $15/nite for RV parking with hookups. Use the conference registration form to
register for camping.
How do I register for Pre-Conference classes? Each description of the class will tell you how to register for that class, as well as the cost and any requirements.
Where do I find a copy of the schedule? Click here to go to the Schedules page.
ConferenceWhat is included with my full registration rate? The conference and five meals (Friday dinner, 3 meals on Saturday, Sunday breakfast).
Are fires allowed? A fire is only allowed in pre-designated areas. They are not allowed at individual campsites in either the tent or RV area. We may have a bon fire one or both nights, but that has not been decided.
Food
What kind of food will be served?
If you purchase a full registration you will have five meals included. The meals are being catered by Longhorn Barbeque and the menu is posted on the web site.
We will also have available RTH Concessions that will sell Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and other yummy items as well as one for coffee and snack items. Click here for their menu.
Can I purchase meals only? You may purchase a meal for a spouse or child that is coming with you but isn't attending the conference. Meal Only Tickets can be purchase for $55. Information is on the Registration Form.
Special Diets - There will be wheat-free/gluten-free selections available on the Friday evening dinner. If you want this meal, please send an e-mail to Eileen Ervin by April 25. At this time it is unknown what will be offered. Reservations are mandatory if you want this meal.
CampingWhat are the camping rates?
Primitive camping is $5 a night per vehicle or tent; RV camping is $15 per night and includes hook-ups for power and sewer. Water is available in the camping area, but it is not at each individual site.
What is available at the location if I am in the primitive camping area?
There are bathroom facilities including showers. In addition, we will be bringing in port a-potties.
Can I bring my horse?
Yes, there are stables available for horses. Please tell us how many horses you are bringing with you so that we can be sure we have enough stable area. The stall fee is $10 for the conference - this will provide a stall, bedding and final clean-up.
Are dogs allowed?
Absolutely --- it will be expected that dogs will be kept under your control and quiet --- but they are welcome.
We have one of the barns set aside to house dogs. You will need to bring your own kennel.
There is a $5.00 charge for the stall in the barn - this will offset the clean up fees we are being charged.
ALL DOGS NEED TO BE LEASHED IN THE FAIRGROUNDS AND CAMPING AREAS. YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER YOUR DOG.
The following motels have advised they will accept dogs: Holiday Inn Express, La Quinta, Comfort Inn, Super 8 Motel, Red Lion, and Value Inn. See the Lodgings page for more information on these Motels. Note one of the motels advised they are almost booked for the dates of the conference. This is a tourist area so make your reservations early especially with a dog.
MiscellaneousWhat are some of the special features of this conference?
On Friday we will have an all day horseback ride, as well as an ATV ride.
On Saturday evening, after dinner, we will have a Mounted Shooting demo as well as a Reining demo.
One of our focuses for this conference will be to bring in Equine classes and activities as we will have room to house horses.
